Link building can be the most stressing and frustrating thing to do for small companies or individuals who are not informed on how to go about it. This is because for businesses and people who are trying to advertise their websites there are always bigger and better competitors who are well versed on how to go around the process thus they always get the publicity that other companies yearn for. However, creating a deep linking depth is not a hard task and companies or individuals should just learn how to do it well and they will have a huge traffic viewing their sites and thus give their products a huge boost.
A company should have their brand name as their anchor text to interviews, blogs, articles and other web directory listings that internet users view every day. This helps the companies to increase their search volume because users are able to view them more often. They are also able to get new link sites and improve their home page visibility to their potential clients.
There are methods that web sites can use and be guaranteed to create strong links. They include;
Link bait – this is where the website develops a high quality content that will attract other websites and people who will want to link to the companies site. The company should build highly educational and entertaining content that will be irresistible to view by internet users thus they will be guaranteed that their website will be popular.
Link magnetism – this is where a company develops high quality content that addresses what the market needs desperately but have not been able to find anywhere else, the company discusses this issue and provides a solution to it but for those only linked to their website. This attracts a huge crowd of viewers who will want to be linked to this website so that they may get the solution. This is a very effective way to ensure that a company’s website will always have viewers and other sites especially blogs, Q&A sites, forums, and other sites for online discussions will want to be linked to it. The page can also be linked to guest blogs, press articles and guest interviews that are most likely to get audience.
Dead link building – this is where a company looks for missing content or broken links by other companies that they are related to and links their site to it. A company should have quality content such that when customers link to it they do not go back to the previous page because they find what they are looking for in the new site. This is a successfully way to build deep links for a company at any time without experiencing any form of difficulties.
Relationship building – this is another guaranteed way for a company to build strong links; the company links itself to other similar websites of companies with similar interests, they build a good relationship that enables it to grow business wise as well as absorb the clients of the other similar companies.

The big event that I had worked for so hard with my colleagues went off smoothly; in fact it was super duper. No, am not blowing my own trumpet, check what Saptarshi has to say about it. The stars of the show held at Hotel Clarks Inn were of course Andy Hagans and Rich McIver. They held forth on SEO, Link Building, and Link Baiting techniques and the sixty odd lucky guys who attended the show were held in thrall.
The learning was great, the discussions yielded a lot on the subjects, thoughts, notes, and contact numbers were exchanged. The event was a great opportunity for SEO enthusiasts to learn about their craft and build relationships. Lest you think, it was all work let me tell you that there was a lot of play as well. A cocktail party with peppy Bollywood tunes had everybody in the mood for some dancing; Andy made a good fist of shaking a leg and Rich commandeered the mike and let us have his rendition of Hotel California.
The latest news is that am playing host to Andy and Rich and we are off to see the Taj Mahal, will keep you guys posted and add pics as well.

Google Dance is upon us once again, the time when nail cutter sales fall down and because the teeth take over. Why does this happen, because when Google dances, with its frenzied steps it rearranges where your site’s PR stands on the World Wide Web, which is Google’s dance floor. It seems though that there is activity only in one data center of Google. You can check for yourself at http://www.digpagerank.com or see here http://www.digpagerank.com/index.php?url=www.bollywood-stars.net&dc=18. If you see anything different, let me know. I am seeing changes in specifically this google datacenter only 216.239.51.19 .
So, if you’re PR goes up, you dance with Google, if stays steady you breathe easy, and if for any reason it goes down you head for an anti-depressant… no don’t do that, its just a silly rank which admittedly has some value in getting traffic but is not the end of the world. So chill and knuckle down to plan how you intend to wrest your PR back from the clutches of Google. I can help you do that, especially beginners who were at zilch three months back, have not improved their site’s PR now, and will probably stay that way even when the next update happens.

ReviewMe Roy, the mascot of www.reviewme.com, the SEO expert Andy Hagans had a splash at PUBCON in Las Vegas. Life does not get better for mascots of services that have just about kicked off. ReviewMe Roy got to rub shoulders with the who’s who of the web world, struck a pose with Todd Maliocat, Andy Hagans, Aaron Wall, Rand Fishkin, Brian Thibault, Nakul Goyal and Shoemoney among others. And hey!! He got himself snapped with a Google banner in the background; is that smart promotion or what.
Speaking of promotions, ReviewMe Roy was there at PUBCON along with Andy Hagans to promote www.reviewme.com. This is a newly launched service that aims to bring together businesses and blog owners. Businesses and website owners can select blogs registered with ReviewMe for a review on their service. The bloggers get paid for their reviews (which, by the way, are totally honest and the post carrying the review mentions that this is a paid post). Of course, there isn’t any altruism involved; ReviewMe keeps a cut of the advertiser’s payment. It is 50% of what is paid by the advertiser.
The ReviewMe site has done a pretty good site of selling itself – with SEO expert Andy in the picture, this was to be expected. This said, I wonder if the idea of the world’s largest RSS button was Andy’s. Have you looked up the appropriate category in Guinness Book as yet, Andy? The site is well-designed, easy to navigate, and takes the concept of online advertising a little further. The advertisement is now woven into the content instead of being in the sidebars and between posts. The best part is that the content is meant to be unbiased and is not an out-and-out advertisement of a company.
Going by the pic, Andy and gang had a swell time at the conference – looks like they worked hard setting up their booth and smiling courteously at any traffic that meandered their way. But if Andy’s grinning countenance and two thumbs up are any sign, they also partied harder.
Here’s me wishing you all the best with your link building and future projects M8. And Roy, you need to beef up a wee bit if you’re going to last the distance, I know you got the moves but pics can be arranged . Wish you luck in your sparring with PayperPost and Getthemblogging.
